2K did put out a college game for a few years. It wasn't of the same quality as its NFL franchise.

A while. It should be longer than the first. Especially with side missions and the like.

Play Arkham City... you won't be disappointed.

I don't recall how long the game was... I want to say somewhere north of 10 hours... that is, if you didn't do all the side missions. But it's one of the very best voice acted games of all time. Just sitting on the buildings listening to the thugs below discuss LOST is awesome.

Day Z?

Online zombie apocalypse survivor FPS mod for Arma II.  One of my favorite channels, The Yogscast, did a few videos playing on it.

hey, I don't have to work tomorrow, so I am likely on DCUO for the rest of the night, if anyone wants to play.

might play some Future Soldier or Killzone 3 later, but mostly DCUO.

Played Day Z for about 4-5 hours today

It is a really fun game. It takes some time to get used to with all of the controls to learn as well as how to play/survive/etc. Me and this other guy kept trying to team up but it is really hard since the game spawns you along a coast line that stretches VERY far. The Map is humongous. It'll take like an hour and change to run from south west to south east. Anyway, we kept trying to meet up but died a lot. Zombies are nuts. There's a noise and sight meter to let you know your chances of being chased. Other humans can also be enemies. It is a really cool game though.

Yeah, unfortunately I think this past weekend was the last beta weekend.  Pre order gave beta access and an item for in game plus a 3 day early access when it goes live (Aug 28).  Deluxe or whatever they call it gives a few more things like some pets and I believe a mount at $80 ($20 more). Not sure which I'll get or from where.

Path of Exile is a free to play ARPG.  Currently in closed beta, but if you pre-order in-game points for the game ($10 for 100 points) you get a beta key.  The cash shop is only for cosmetic things and extra character slots and stash tabs.

There is also an open beta/stress test this weekend starting Friday at 8 pm I believe.  No pre-purchase necessary to play in it, and you can pre-download the client (~4.3GB) now if you wish.
