Stammen has been pitching very well as of late.  Yet another National's minor league pitcher to keep your eyes on in the future:

Quote
Harrisburg Senators starting pitcher Craig Stammen was named the Eastern League's Pitcher of the Week for the week ending July 13. The right-hander went 2-0 in two starts, striking out 12 in 14 innings and posting a 0.64 ERA. He walked just one and allowed just one run over the two starts.

Stammen, 24, joined the Senators from Class A Potomac just last month and is 2-1 in five starts here. His 1.67 ERA ranks best among the team's five starters. The Washington Nationals selected him in the 12th round of the 2005 draft out of the University of Dayton. He joins LHP Cory VanAllen, currently on the team's disabled list, as Senators to win the award this season.
