Zimmerman swung at the first pitch twice tonight and made outs. Maybe SF missed those AB's.

fixed.
:lmao: unlucky tonight. the first ball was hit hard right in between first and second. a foot more to the right and it would have been a hit.

he crushed that pitch in the 9th. i thought it was going in the gap for sure. Street was very fortunate. that was a god awful slider right down the middle.

He didn't crush it.  he got it off the end of the bat and broke it.

you don't get points for losing by 1. i'd rather lose by 10.

we just are a bullcrap team. can't beat legit teams. let's not mistake this recent run of success as us actually being a competitive team.

look at where the pitch was on gameday. 85 mph slider up and right over the middle of the plate. lucky that wasn't a walk-off blast.

:lmao:  It's almost identical.

SF has two different ways of interpreting reality; one for his boys and another for his non-boys.

you don't get points for being unlucky.  do you realize how you contradict everything you say.

so it's okay if one of your guys record an out, b/c it's unlucky.  but if another one dude gets an out, it's b/c they suck?

I don't really care where the pitch was, he missed it by two inches and got it off the end.  That's not crushing the ball, that's missing it.  Street may have missed his spot, but Zim didn't crush it.

it looked like it was away and he tried to pull it.  he didn't get the job done.  game over, he failed.

i'd have to see the replay. he hit it on a line right to the LFer. hit it hard enough. just unlucky.

 did you watch the game? How can a guy possibly be unlucky if he struck out 3 times and hit a one pitch pop-out, for example? just a sucky performance.

RZ just missed a few hits tonight. it evens out in the end. he has been hitting into bad luck a lot over the last few games. those hits will start dropping again soon.

weren't you supposed to be gone from this game thread, rather than continuing to spout your fanboy "my favorite hunks can do no wrong" bs in it?

You realize even the best teams lose at least 1/3rd of their games, right?
You expect us to win every night.

quite easily. he just has to change his name to Ryan Zimmerman.

Quote
I love RZ and he can't possibly ever in his life do anything that is less than perfect. If something bad happens, everyone else is to blame and not my darling RZ.

fixed.

why don't you just copy/paste that. it'll save you a lot of pointless writing.

and even the worst teams win 40% of their games.. oh except for the Nats.

until we show that we can beat the better teams in the league we will not amount to crap. I want to become competitive sooner rather than later. I had hoped that the winning against crap teams would carry over when we face tougher teams but that has not been the case.

I was just referring to the Rockies series. Balester and Mock on the mound against the Rockies scares me.
