As if coming out on the short end of a 1-nil no-hitter weren't bad enough...that loss is #81 for the Pirates...the best they can hope for is to salvage .500, and that won't be easy with two more against the Reds and then a three-match series with Atlanta (all home).
Their fans must be feeling absolutely gutted after the hot start...imagine not having a winning season since Bush pere was in office...all the same GO PIRATES since they're playing teams we're battling (for best record in NL and for division title).
