Another great example of why we are the worst team in baseball.. We get 2 runners on and no outs and then bunt????!!!! Why bunt against a pitcher that was having control issues and starting to come unraveled?  Anyways, why Snelling and Fick can't hit 92 mph fastballs right down the middle is beyond comprehension.

Well that's it.  The best we can do for Bergmann now is get him off the hook.

Whatever, who cares. Even if we had some how scored 2 runs Chad would've blown it.

I think it's time to plunk Reyes.  He's been crowding the strike zone with his fake bunts all damn weekend.

Why, when we see the exact same lineup tomorrow, are we going to hold out hope that they're going to hit better?

Isn't that the definition of insanity???

I would love to see us beam Ritalin Reyes.

Well that's it.  The best we can do for Bergmann now is get him off the hook.

We can also DENY Maine the win, just as we denied Glavine a win, which became part of the national reporting of his quest for 300 wins.  One decent bat like Nick Johnson's could make a world of difference now...

Our pitching has been absolutely f*cking amazing over the last 3 games.. You couldn't ask for much more than holding the Mets to 2 runs or less in each game of the series (not counting the 4 runs in the 12th yesterday).

Exactly!  We are holding our own, and I picked the Mets to go to the World Series on Opening Day.  Our pitching was supposed to be our biggest weakness.  A .500 record can send the nats2playoffs, so our pitching is setting us up for a winning streak.

WE ARE ONLY DOWN BY 1.  Let's WIN THIS GAME!
DO IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
