Gburg,

Like I said... Don't think the OF is going to sneak a peak at the 3B coach. More likely would be judging the runner.

Unless Beltran has tunnel vision I'm sure he can see both from that far out

Not saying it was definitely a deke, just a thought.  Who knows.

chased a curve ball in the dirt :?

They've already left 4 baserunners on through 2 innings. Werth is stranding guys at an alarming pace.

They aren't going to be able to continue this pace and win games. Need to be able to come up with a big extra base hit to put a crooked number on the board. Have we had an extra base hit yet?

Need to start getting production from our big hitters and not relying on miracle hits from the bottom of the lineup.

Do the Cardinals have a particularly bad bullpen?  Why is everyone wanting to knock him out early?  If Garcia's struggling, the Nats are getting their best opportunities right now.

If anything, the Nats just need to seize opportunities and score more runs.  1 run in with 3 stranded ain't gonna cut it.

Who thought anyone would take Gio Gonzalez' 2nd inning on Sunday as his game plan for today. But Jamie Garcia seems to have done it.

Sorry, "Jaime." He can't throw strikes. I can't spell.

if i am the manager of our next opponent,  have Livo and Jaime moyer on speed dial.  We don't hit the slow curve at all.

Even though we're up 1-0, if our offense can't convert more than that then I'm pretty worried.

QFT, we need to be scoring runs vs Garcia. He stinks. We lit him up in the regular season.

I'd be more worried if I was a Cardinals fan.  They should have won yesterday and have been even worse than us at both hitting and hitting with runners in scoring position.
