The bad hitting is a sign of things to come. How will they score vs Price, Hellickson, and Matt Moore?

It might be, but how are they gonna score vs. Stras and Gio?

I hope Eckstein has all his charts up to date. Real good ABs this weekend.

We're still a good team.  You can't judge that based off what we do vs. the best team in baseball alone.   Based off what I've seen in the rest of the games this year, we're just fine.

Quit speaking logically.  That's not allowed here.

Remember that time we got swept by the Marlins and everyone said that was the turning point and we'd be under .500 in no time because we lost to the hottest team in baseball?  hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Win 1-0? We can't win without scoring a run.

Plunking the first batter and failing to cover home on a passed ball. Yup, Ryan Mattheus is finding creative ways to replicate Lidge's results.

This team has no heart. They have no fight. They roll over and die

It's because of Davey.

Nats were smacked down by a veteran team firing on all cylinders right now.  Starting pitching did its part - the hitters did not show up.  The fielding left a lot to be desired as well.  So did the umpiring, but that is another story.

Hopefully they take this experience and learn from it.  Harper in particular.

@ChiefsRadio: Two triples for Corey Brown today - his 5th and 6th of the season. He's 3rd in the IL in HRs and 2nd in the IL in 3Bs.

70 pitches for Nova.  Our SPs have been hitting that mark in the 4th or 5th inning.

Yup, our hitters don't work the count at all. They'd rather get the outs out of the way as soon as possible.

False, they are overrated. Weak lineup. They are throwing Price-Moore-Hellickson against us which will be tough but I think we can win 2 of 3.

Going to need a miracle to beat two more AL East juggernauts in Tamp and Baltimore. We could be looking at 0-9 in this stretch.

:lmao:
