Does anyone want to bet whether Zimmerman will drive-in Nick?

Slightly off topic, are you telling me they didn't DFA Tavarez after last night's game?

You know better than that. We've gone through this for the least couple of years and they are not going to change overnight.

Macdougal has 15 BBs to 7 Ks. When is enough, enough?

He's as bad as Joel.

It doesn't matter who you bring in. The results are almost always the same.

I really would like someone to ask Rizzo or someone else in the FO what they've learned about putting together a bullpen, from this season?

The fact that they're seemingly stuck with Julian Tavarez says more about how this team is constructed than being stuck with Austin Kearns!  They can't possibly expect anybody to take Tavarez off their hands by the trade deadline!

And there should be many better options somewhere in the organizations than Tavarez!  By default there should be better options!

why? Why can't we be normal?

It shouldn't be this hard to find serviceable relievers.

Kasten is probably already working on ways to convince people to purchase season tickets for 2010.

I guess you don't have to touch them with the ball anymore, any old body part will do.

What's the point in changing pitchers?  This offense couldn't hit a pitcher from the little sisters of the poor.
