Love Dibble for ranking on the pitcher for not going the distance with 15 runs of support. Awesome.

 at Dibble.

Mock should not be complimented for his start tonight. doesn't deserve the win.

he should have gone a minimum of 7 innings tonight with all of those runs of support.

It wasn't fully Mock's fault.  Riggleman's hook is far too quick.

Saul needs to keep throwing the same stuff. Be agressive and let the batters get themselves out. Dingers in this situation are nothing. Walks and pitching behind are the mortal sins.

I hope SF doesn't complain if bats go cold against Harden tomorrow. He's been superb lately
which means he is due to get rocked. he has been mediocre this year overall.

I want consistency. don't go and score 15 runs and then score 2 the next night. I'm not asking for 15 tomorrow but no reason we can't score 5-6+.

True, I think his message was as much for the organization and protecting his boys in the bullpen.

so I'm assuming that we are actually playing the Pirates and not the Cubs.

cause everyone knows that it is utterly impossible for the Nats to play well against teams that are not the worst in baseball.

But hitting begets hitting within a game. That's why the Yankees Sox games can be 20-11 one night and 1-14 the next night. Every game is its own story.

the Cubs have a winning record but by no means are they a good team. one of the biggest disappointments in the game.

this is one game. the nats have done crap like this before only to suck the rest of the week.  if we have a winning record on this road trip I will be stunned.

The Cubs new owners' name is RICKETTS???
Yeah, Omaha natives actually.  Papa Ricketts founded TD Ameritrade.  One of his sons, Pat, ran for Congress and lost to the incumbent in a close race about two elections ago.

If we can get one more in Chicago or St. Louis, we'll have a shot in San Diego.
