I can really get used to this.
Double steal of home...Riggs has proven himself to me.
I see nothing wrong with giving him some extra rope, especially during a doubleheader.
The Cards have been averaging 8-plus runs a game for going on the last week.

I am confused by this

Last time this franchise stole home: Milton Bradley in 2001

I have never been as pessimistic as most, but yes...I'm drinking the Kool-Aid.
Now let's sit back and all sing Kumbya.

I take my time to be positive when a game isn't on. I believe the baseball gods are waiting around every corner to smite us.

I don't mind the solo homers as long as Lannan stays aggressive.

According to Gameday, those 2 pitches prior to the HR were strikes.

why do cardinals officials want that ball back so much?  did rasmus hit a milestone homer?

i had to turn down carpenter, it's reached a point he was just so awful.

When can we just sit back and enjoy watching this team? Years of pain and disappointment are hopefully all gone.

i was just curious as to why they kept showing it?  has that been a tradition?  or did rasmus hit his 50th home run or something?

Well the Nationals have 16 consecutive games where the starter lasted 5 innings. But 99 pitches so he won't last 6.

Probably not.  He is due to bat next inning, so he may be lifted for a PH if the Nats get anything going...

I enjoy it but I watch every game in a nervous mood waiting for the worst possible outcome, and the only relief is when the final out is recorded.

I wish they would let him stay in until he gets a guy on base. He doesn't put that much stress on his arm.
