It's one thing to keep Taveras on the bench as a pinch runner but to actually start him is crazy.

Happened last year as well when he went his first 100+ AB's without a walk.

was going to go to quadfest last weekend, but didn't want to risk getting a face full of tear gas for the second time in a month :/

as for the beer, I'm going with some Glen Livet my boss got me

yeah that was bad ... maybe it had something to do with his injury?  IIRC, he hit pretty well in the spring.
