I think he's finally healthy.  Also outside of superstars like Harper/Rendon/etc, the jump to AA is the hardest to take.  Ask any baseball guy.

Saw him play yesterday in Trenton. Looked really, really bad at the plate.

Man he has had a horrible year. I dont really believe in any of our OF prospects. I think a FA span replacement is more likely. Should have just signed bourn

He's officially a bust. He doesn't do anything well.

Can't hit for power, can't hit for AVG, can't run well, strikes out too much.

Yep

Hood has lost his OF job to Billy Burns. Now the DH, and looks like he's considering what career to start next year. Did not hit. Looks dispitied and ready to finish. Might be wishing he had taken that football scholarship to Alabama.

Hood is not hitting .419 at AA. Maybe he's learning, Maybe a break-out year for the big guy. When Hood hits, the ball nows its been hit,

Yes. I don't expect Hood's high BA to continue but I hope it does.

If it was just about bodies, there are plenty of guys they could have signed to a minor league deal or they could have moved a guy with no shot up to aaa to avoid derailing a project's development

For a guy who was going to play football, he doesn't hit for a lot of power

I've seen him twice at Harrisburg and he look strong. Maybe Hood is learning to hit the ball before learning to hit the ball over the fence.
