His curve is pretty nasty as well.
All I say is remember he's young folks. 22 years old and making just his fourth start. In most other organizations he's still in AAA, but we're with the youth movement. Scouts haven't raved about his stuff but said he has what it takes to be a pretty solid number three guy. He has great composure and a fastball that has a lot of zip. His curve is pretty nasty as well. As he develops his change and works on things like pitching from the stretch, etc, he should be a good one for us. In a "lost" season, it's been fun to see guys like Lannan, Bally, Dukes, Milledge and Flores make some strides.
Milledge finished 0-for-5 with an rbi, but hit the ball pretty sharply and they just said on TV he is running very, very well. I hope to see him Friday night @ Dodger Stadium!!!
I hope they aren't rushing him. He was just in the GCL a few days ago.
I can't believe we have only scored 1 run so far.
