7:07 and the Nats haven't lost yet.
loving the positive attitude.Any idea of when they could start?
Carpie just breathlessly told us he got the inside scoop from the Nats. They're expecting a cloudburst around 7:15-7:20 which should last about 20 minutes or so and they'll start the game some time after that.
Okay, I'll be back around 7:45 or so then. Thanks!
Is it insanely foggy? Fog baseball is the very worst.
Rain with the occasional thunder and lightning combo thrown in for good measure in western Fairfax.
Not here. We have guys taken in their super cans. Which may sound like thunder to the uninformed.
CALLED. Said it's in a rain delay.
Well which is it?
Since we've been sitting here, the rain has not exceeded a mist. The folks here at Nationals Park are not awaiting the passing of a rain system; no, they are awaiting the arrival of the system... and then its passing. According to one radar view, that system hasn't even reached the Beltway yet. And more systems seem to be grouped behind it.The Nats simply want Jordan Zimmermann to enjoy a smooth debut -- uninterrupted. They want him to warm up and deal with no rain delays. Is that possible tonight? Who knows. But right now, it seems unlikely they'll have any chance to start this thing before 9 p.m. At best.
dude, are you kidding? that'd be AWESOME. watch the Caps game and then the Nats game
