desmond had a lot of errors last year, but was pretty solid with the bat in his first full season. he needs to improve his OBP, yes of course. but he had a pretty decent spring.
is he a leadoff hitter? no. but he's still a major league quality SS. hell most analysts have him ranked among top 10 SS in the game.
so chill out dude.
really? i can't buy that. a .308 OBP guy with 30+ errors (20+ guaranteed) a top 10? Either SSs are a lot worse than I think or experts over value him a lot.
(but that doesnt mean i dont think he could be solid/is a guy we should just swing immediately)
