Guzman doubled in the first, I believe.
Ah, you're right. We should still have more runs regardless though. We should be up 4 or 5 to zip.

Man this ump has a minuscule strike zone.

Hill has gone to a 2-0 count to 3 batters in a row.

Yeah, I was being picky there.

Remember when I said the other day that it seems like teams have a strategy against us to watch A LOT of pitches because they know Manny will pull starters early? It always happens now.

That's got to be it.  Now who's going to come in with the bases loaded?

A homerun isn't really a clutch hit because it would be run-scoring play whether there were any RISP or not.

Correct; however, for example, with two men on, a homer becomes a three-run-scoring play instead of just one run being scored.

I don't even want to watch any more. That last pitch was right down the flipping middle.

Sickening. He should have struck out. freaking Disgusting. I feel like turning it off and going to sleep. That 1-2 pitch split the plate in half. Right down the freaking middle.

Both of them. There's no excuse for that. It was right down the middle. Not even close. Anyone who thinks that the umps aren't betting on games is crazy.  That disgusts me.

That first pitch strike to Wolf was the exact pitch the ump called a ball to Barrett.

It's just a bad ump. He can't see the low or the outside strikes. He's guessing. I've been reading a lot about this problem in the majors.

Hill is going to the DL after this game.  Who do we bring up?

If that happens, I vote for Mock.

Tyler Clippard seems like the clear choice.
