It doesn't matter that it's late August.  This is so unacceptible!

Somebody has to go!!!

Tomorrow just seems like the golden chance to fire him.  Off day after getting swept in 3 beyond embarrassing games to the rookie marlins

Ladies and gentlemen, tonight's game is indeed an ugly one.  My only problem with games like this one (since I have no illusions about competing this season) is that they are demoralizing and bad for the players.  We DO look a bit Royals-ish tonight...I hope Mr. Soriano realizes that's just a function of the current circumstances, and not a plan for the future.

My problem with that is that, of all the things Stan Kasten has said, fielding a competitive team every year, is not one of them.  And that should have been the first thing he said!

Believe it or not, Kearns is actually batting .323 against lefties!

Cabrera is money, #100 HR.  A shame no one is in the stadium to see it.

Seems like most of them have been against the Nationals.

Frank should've just let Armas stay out there, he was only at 61 pitches.  It's not like we're going to win.

Yeah, you may as well get $2.1 million of use out of him!

I betcha our radio and tv guys are hating this even worse than us.  They have to call all of these embarrassing games night in and night out.  I can only dream that one day we will be an annual playoff contender and every game all season will mean something..  Hopefully, last year was only a taste of what is to come in the next 5-10 years..

Schroeder, Traber, and even Bergmann have been putting Armas to shame lately.

I am pleased to see that Escobar continues to actually be...well, good.  Hell, a homer and a single for the cycle tonight, it could happen!

Screw you Ryan Church.  Alex Escobar is the real deal.
Escobar 28 hits in 83 At-bats .337
Church 33 hits in 136 At-bats .243

Daryle Ward's fault. 0/3 3 Ks .  Why would Ward start when a lefty was pitching?  If Ward is going to get a rare start for NJ, why start him against a lefty?

me neither, but there isn't a whole lot else on TV..  I start college next week, that should occupy alot of my time as well as football starting in a few weeks.  As comcast users finally get MASN in Sept, the Nationals aren't even worth watching anymore this season.  I doubt I'll be watching many more games in September.  Hopefully next season will be more fun like last year's 1st half.
