I knew he was pulling something out of his A's, but I've never seen his cap.

In fairness, he does talk to Williams.

Obama is a White Sox poser.  He grew up pulling for the A's.

He was a poser on that too.  How can you claim to be a fan of either team and not say Frank Thomas or Reggie Jackson when asked for a favorite.

All about the money- specifically the lack of taxes

Actually, it's all about the fact the Marlins weren't on his no-trade list.

Quote from: ESPN.com news services
"It's not easy, but that's our job," Guillen said. "I don't think he should be blaming anybody. He should blame himself. We gave Gaby a lot of opportunities. The reason they made this move (is) obvious. We've not had much production from him, and in Carlos, we hope we've got more production. People don't make moves just to make moves."

Ozzie Guillen is the anti Davey Johnson. It is a crying shame he ever left the White Sox.

Well, it's not like he's saying anything that isn't true.

2B Mike Andrews made 2 errors in the 12th inning of Game 2. A's owner Charlie Finley made Andrews sign an affadavit that he was injured. The A's used Dick Green at 2B the rest of the series. MLB Commish Bowie Kuhn made the A's reinstate Andrews for game 4.

The #RedSox and #Marlins discussing blockbuster: Carl Crawford and prospect to Miami for Hanley Ramirez and Heath Bell. #MLB

Interesting if true. Would also lend credence to the idea that the Marlins are punting the season

Sources:There is no current discussion involving Crawford and Hanley Ramirez/Heath Bell. Was brought up briefly as concept, immediately died.

Probably more of an off season thing

But that could mean Stanton is available this offseason

How are they going to afford Crawford? Aren't they already shedding salary

If the #Marlins do decide they're out of it, Anibal Sanchez and Josh Johnson also will go. #Braves have expressed interest in Sanchez.

It was Crawford and a prospect. And clearly, they don't give a crap about money

Anibal Sanchez for Heath Bell.

The way this works is, the Braves acquire Anibal Sanchez. In return, the Braves also acquire Heath Bell.
