just a note:

we may need to move MIlledge back to the 2.

I think having him hit 5th is changing his approach for the worse.  he had great ABs and took a good amount of walks when he was batting 2nd.  and batting 5th, he seems to feel more pressured to hit for power, and as such is swinging for the moon.

this in addition to his "I wanna prove the Mets wrong" mentality.
