Guzman is the reason the team is only 13-10. If he played less the team might have 1 or 2 more wins. Just stop playing him. It's pretty simple. Desmond won the job, yet Guzman still keeps stealing starts away from him. I don't want Guzman on my team not because he sucks, but because his ego so fragile that Riggleman has to start him in 2/3 of the games.

I won't bash Riggleman today. I just realized he actually moved him to the spot he deserves in the lineup. Thank god for the end of the Cristian Guzman in the top of the lineup era that we had to endure.

Phillies up 8-0 with Halladay on the mound. If that holds and the Nats win tonight they are in 1st place.

Please cite what games could have been won with Guzman out of the lineup. If anything he should be in RF and Bernadina and Maxwell in Hagerstown (exaggeration) along with Tavares. They will never be major leauguers. Harris is valuable off the bench and Morse should get a small shot at it when he is healthy. Stop nagging on Guzman and focus on  where we are deficient the most RF.

The Phillies are now beating the Mets 10-0 in the 8th, so the Nationals will move into a TIE for FIRST PLACE in the NL-East, if they win tonight!  We'd both be 14-10, with the Phillies at 13-10 on our heels.

Due to our winning record against the Mets, we'd technically be in sole possession of first.  Of course the MLB standings page will still show us second in the list because of alphabetical order and the apparent lack of coding for team vs team records in tie scenarios  :?

n2p, we went 2-1 against the mets, so we'd hold the TIEbreaker 8)

Then we MUST find a way to make the SEASON END after tonight's game...

Phillies beat the Mets 10-0!

I'll tell you a game he lost for us. Just go back to Monday night against the Cubs. He starts off the bottom of the 10th by letting a ground ball get by and then later in that inning he lets a pop fly drop behind him. Bruney walked in the winning run... but those two outs would have sent the game to the 11th.
