Thanks for nothing Clippard.  Pretty sure Livan could've done that :?

This.

I don't know why you would even risk Livan more.  He'd already given you 7 innings.  You don't get bonus points for a complete game.  And he wasn't going to throw a complete game because his pitch count was already well over 100.

And if he wasn't going to throw a complete game, why have him pitch 8?

This is Riggleman's fault!

Real close? They're pretty much dead on to meet last year's number.

This HAS to be the game that Riggleman gets fired.

Sadly, he's not going anywhere.

A solid infield instructor would be a good start though.

Would pitching Livan for only 7 innings be an insult?  And I would have gone straight to Storen then Capps.  I have no confidence in Clippard.

I honestly thought Livo was good to go nine.

Read the situation totally wrong.

Which is worse?

1. Leaving runners on base
2. Throwing mistakes
3. Poor relief pitching
4. All of the above

Calling for Clippard to be gone is a bit much, Dibbs.

Busby Ladstick's take on that inning:

Quote
Chad Headley scored on an error by #Nats SS Ian Desmond. It's now a 5-5 game between the #Nats and #Padres.

They weren't in the ball game, Rog.  They were 3 runs down!

Busby Ladstick's take on that inning:

He's incompetent. Desmond and Guzman look absolutely nothing alike

Clippard makes me nervous.  I think riggleman feels the same.  pulled him before he let another run in.  if this were still May, he would have left him in till we were behind....

His play could be reduced and used in less pressure situations but Riggleman is an idiot.

Headley's first name also isn't Chad.

I love when Dibble starts going on rants.

'I'm not sold on CF, SS, 2B" on and on and on.
