I've never personally held pro wrestling to be a sport. In fact the industry itself describes itself as "sports entertainment." Nobody is trying to fool anyone anymore, everyone knows wrestling is scripted, but so are movies, and people enjoy them don't they? Wrestling has come a long way since the days of Hulkamania. Wrestling today is more akin to an elaborate acrobatics show with a healthy side of trash-talking soap opera.
