I'm actually kinda surprised we didn't hear anything from Guillen leading into this series.  An interview, a sound byte, anything.

Yea, Guillen left on relatively solid terms, right? I always really liked him.

Dang it. MASN is blacked out on Extra Innings because the Royals are considered my home team.  The Nats don't generally do well when I can't watch MASN...

Nah, just ranting about sucky pitching in general.  He sounded a lot like spidernat, actually.  Paraphrasing here:

"I don't care if you're a nice guy, right out of prison, whatever, you're up here to get outs, get your team wins, get to the playoffs" etc. etc. etc.

Roy Halladay got sent down too.

That's the example I was looking for, thanks - getting demoted can be useful.

Livo already has more K's than Lannan did yesterday.

...actually, he has the same out.  Lannan, shockingly, had two strikeouts yesterday.

Well, that DOES sound more or less like your outlook on MLB players, doesn't it?

Did you guys hear the wild, high pitch screaming when he hit that?  It was crystal clear on the KC broadcast.

Morgan's CV addition for the night is caught stealing in the first inning with the heart of the order coming up and Morse's is another homerun...but Morgan is the one who'll start tomorrow?

I couldn't answer right away because we had head count.  :?

But I guess you're right about that. The only thing that really counts in my book is what you can produce on the field to help the team win games.

Riggleman, you're not committing a sin if you start Morse and sit Morgan for a couple of days/weeks/months!   :rites:
