I'm going to be at the Saturday game of the Pirate series.  Two of my favorite teams going at each other.  Honestly, the Nats SHOULD have the upper hand but with this team you never know.

Interesting...I like the Pirates too.  I used to live in Pittsburgh.

I grew up with my father being a huge Pittsburgh fan.  He was so happy when DC got the Nats because he knew they'd be coming to DC rather than him having to make the trip to Pitt every so often.  Big Pirates fan he is, so it naturally rubbed off on me.

I remember back in the 90s where it was Bonilla, Andy Van Slyke, and Pre-Roid Bonds and that Bucs team had some punch but were never able to make it to the series sadly.

2-1 Cards on Pujols 14th homer of the season.  That's probably the game for us :(

Actually Rauch gave up the homer.  They sat Livan down after the 7th.

Nick had a horrible game. The worst thing about it wa that the gameday say its a "soft" groundout.

It was soft.  The way the ball played it looked more like a sac bunt.

There are two reasons and only two reasons why we lost this game:

1.) Guillen's dropping the ball and Clayton's missing the relay, you know what's ironic about that, everytime the Nationals fly out to an outfielder , I PRAY that they drop the ball...of course it only happens to us

2.) The second reason is...CHIEF STARTED THIS GAMEDAY THREAD...lol, you know i'm right
