On July 23, 1959, the Nats lost 6 - 2, Pete Ramos losing to Frank Lary. Tight game for three innings, and then Ramos gave up unanswered runs in the 4th, 5th, and 6th. Nats only answer was a solo homer by Old Faithful, Roy Sievers.

Record now 43 - 49, although they have lost 3 in a row. (Tigers at 45 - 50)

I was bullish on this team until we dropped the last two games of the Milwaukee series.  I've got nothing left right now.
