I made it. Just not til 3rd inning. JCA was able to sneak me into the club level where we sat with Marquis and John.

I thought everyone was going to sit at the Porch all game.  :?

Nice to at least get a chance to wave at everybody while you were paying your tabs.
Still a nice day to be at the ball park, despite the loss.

Steak salad was good in the Red Porch and reasonable at $10.  Great to see so many people.  Linty was shocked they played such a quick game.  Would have been better if they had saved one of those extra inning games for today. Alas, Hairston's contact could not find a hole.  1st and 2d, no outs in the 9th, the way they've been playing, thought for sure they'd score.

It was really, really cool meeting everyone, I'm just sorry I got there so late.  Major props to TomTerp and Blue for holding down the fort in my absence.

15 South to 270 South, to 370 which ends at Shady Grove Metro. Red line to Gallery Place, transfer to Green line towards Branch Avenue. Two stops on the Green Line.

Got there mid-3rd, couldn't find anyone so we perched on the porch for the duration.  Funny, after lobbying our ST jefe to upgrade we have yet to actually go to our seats.  Porch monkeys R us.

Sir Toby Belch?  Which play is he from?  Sounds familiar from when I studied Shakespeare and early British Drama in the UK.

I take it you are excited now!   :)

Sorry this is late as I lost a good post earlier due to Internet issues.

Despite the loss Saturday afternoon I had a very nice time.
Everyone was very friendly and that made the day. Maybe the offense will show up the next time we do this.
