Because that was Suzuki's fault, right?

Well, nearly everybody blamed Flores all the time.

An on the target throw gets him out at third there.

But still our pitchers refuse to hold or pay attention to runners. McCatty doesn't teach that for some reason.

Embarrassing. Suzuki didn't change anything. You could put Yadier Molina back there and the results would be the same. freaking lame ass pitchers refuse to hold runners.

Why are the beat reporters scared to ask Davey about the fact that opposing teams can steal at will against the Nats? wusses.

Well, nearly everybody blamed Flores all the time.

Bingo. I was one of the people on the board who pointed out that the pitchers were doing a terrible job of holding runners. Everyone said it was Flores broken shoulder and that Suzuki with his 30+% throw out rate would be the answer.

So far, not really.

Our pitchers also have no pick-off moves

Might be one of my cynical moments, but I have absolutely no faith in this team right now.  Have looked just awful the past couple of days.

Third loss in a row and we have to face Cliff Lee tomorrow. Lee 7 IP 0 ER last time vs the Nats a few weeks ago.

Yawn another 4-2 deficit going into the 9th inning. Sigh, time to go down 1-2-3 as pathetic as possible.
