Charlie and Dave really are the greatest duo in baseball...

Holiday is pretty terrible.

Nice big, wide slide by Bixler after screening that ball a little.

It was a very difficult play. It was not a routine play. It was a slow roller and Espinosa had to go a long way to get to it from where he was stationed. Once he fielded the ball he had very little time to switch to his bare hand to make the throw. In his haste he didn't get a good grip on the ball and it was too late to throw then. I have no issue with it being ruled a hit.

Again, I'm not watching and Dave seemed pretty incredulous as to why Danny didn't throw.  Though he did say that it really couldn't be ruled anything but a hit since no error was made.

Holiday is pretty terrible.

He didn't even appear to know, earlier on, that a ball thrown out of play results in an automatic extra 2 bases :hang:

That hit was not worth 126 mil.  But I'll take it.

Desmond should be able to hit lefties too.  It's the whole lefty-righty thing!

For a while he didn't even know where the ball had been thrown.

Earlier he said that lost in last night's win was that the Nats scored 5 runs in the 9th. How could that possibly be lost when they went into the frame down by 4 and won the ballgame?  :lmao:

People need to stop hating on Werth because of his contract. A single's a single, your salary doesn't make it any worse.

Walk off homer, if the bases were loaded after 1 was scored.

It was a perfect hit. If anyone doesn't like it, too bad.

I think he lost his grip on the ball briefly as he loaded up to throw to first.  He quickly brought the ball to the glove as if to adjust the grip, but it was too late.

THe angle shown didn't show the progress of the runner so it's remotely possible he held his initial throw due to the slowly hit grounder, but Cust isn't fast, so I think he just lost the grip briefly.
