Zim chases ball 4.. Hamels going for a career high in Ks.. Please STFU Carpenter, 2 more days and your worthless *** is gone.  "Hamels is throwing a playoff quality game...."blah blah blah.  How about ripping into our offense who had no problem scoring runs against NY yet is befuddled by the Phillies once again.

Balls breaking north south and east west... he's throwing some hard to hit stuff.

Yep. Cole is the NL's version of Carmona. Both have some filthy stuff.

That was the worst half-inning of the game.

Ronnie strikes out on a hanging change up... Hamels is good, yes, but this is the 5th time we have faced him this year.  You'd think by now we'd have a little clue as to what he is throwing.  Guess not

Our hitting coach only recently figured out that he's supposed to be studying opponents' pitchers, instead of playing cards and dancing in the dugout.  We're still one of the worst hitting clubs in baseball, so I all for dumping both hitting coaches we've had.

Hamels is now unhittable.  It's become a work of art, really.

fantastic.. Hamels Ks our #3-5 hitters with ease.  I'm sure the Mets are delighted that we are laying down for Philly.  Seriously though, the Phillies pitching has been dominating our offense over the last 2 series.  They must have a scouting report on us that no one else has..

what an idiot.. Hopefully this is the last time Redding pitches in a Nats uniform.  Who in the hell gives up a double to Burrell? He's utterly worthless.  Don't have to throw him a strike to get him out.

To have a pinch runner this early in the game, is showing us nothing but contempt!

We decided after the second inning to start swinging for the fences.  They decided the discipline they used against the Mets doesn't work against the Phillies.  What a joke!  We let him off the hook in the second inning.  It's funny but you can tell when they won't hit and this is one of those times.  It would be a shame to be embarrassed in these last three games like they did last year.

Getting dominated by Hamels is awful although it is believable.  If they get dominated by Eaton and Moyer over the next 2 days I will be livid.
