If I got a City of Fairfax tag that has the city seal in the middle would it weird to put kimnat on it because it would be split in half:  KIM (seal) NAT?  How do y'all think that or NAT (seal) GRL would work?

There are MANY NAT GRLs,
but there is only ONE KIM NAT.

"GO TO YOUR ROOM...JAMES CRAM!"

rofl    That was the funniest thing I have seen in ages!!  I had tears from laughing so hard!  Where do find these things?!  Thank you!

Ok, though, does the seal in the middle make it look like it's too names like Kim 'n Nat or will it make sense as KIMNAT?  I don't want someone thinking Dan's name is Nat.

You will, if he makes an obscene gesture at someone while driving that car!

Just be careful that the seal doesn't add any unintended message:

You can go to the VA DMV website and try out different options.  They will tell you if its been used already.  Hmm, if you put NAT (seal) GRL, what happens when Dan drives your car?  NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT!   <laughing>  rofl

Don't quote me because its been awhile.  Virginia has a lot of vanity plates but it also has a lot of plate patterns.  Different patterns have different costs.  Some patterns because they support causes or charities of course cost more.  I think the lettering part of it is a set fee of around $10 but I'm not sure.

Oh yeah and if you wanted to buy a plate to decorate a room or put in a display, they do sell "souvenir plates"

Of course if I lived in Maryland, I'd want this one!

I'm sorry, didn't mean to pry.  Embarrassed

Its just that some states charge way MORE than that.  If you get the normal state plate instead of special one, you're only paying for the message and instead of message AND plate.

Nope, you are fine. You are also right that I was thinking it would be more like $50 per year
I'd have to clear it with the Mrs. anyway, which would never happen.

20 bucks, plus all registration services were outsourced to private companies, so you have to pay a fee on top of that (thanks PA). It's free money for business that have no need to exist.
