I love my Nats but I can't bear to watch the Philly faithful dance on our heads - I'll keep up with the score online.

I hope you didn't just miss the cutest part of the game!

Ugh.  Looks like a 73-89 season.  Not bad at all.

If you had told me we were going 73-89 in April I would take it in a heartbeat.  64-64 since the 9-25 start.  I just hate ending the season with a reminder of how far we are away from contending.  Teams like the Phillies are LOADED when compared with the Nats.  But when we get talent, we will dominate because we have one of the best skippers in the league.

The kid playing God Bless America on the trumpet is a very, very convincing cyborgCool

Phillies don't have the pitching to get to the World Series.  They're the only good hitting team though.  The Mets gave us Manny Acta and we knocked them out of the playoffs, almost single-handedly when it counted.  But really the Mets beat themselves.

Rockies may be alive.  THEY could go to the Series, if they survive today.

Who's up in hitting order for us next?  I'm wondering about why Rauch wasn't brought in.

The Vikings are driving in the last 2 minutes for a tying-TD against Green Bay - exciting game.

You have to hand it to Philly.  They wanted the division and they're going to win it.

I just talked to my Dad, and he said he feels better with Philly winning the division than the Mets, and I'm starting to agree with him.  The Mets have players that just piss you off, while the Phillies have good, solid ballplayers.

I respect the Phillies as division winners more than I would the Mets, but I still hate to see it come at the expense of the Nats.

Plus, it's better than Atlanta and all the division titles they won year after year after year.  It's a bit of a change to see some other team win it.

Yes, I just realized that not too long ago.  For the 1st time in years, the Braves aren't in it.

Update:

Yankees are spanking the O's
Milwaukee leads SD

Not sure what the Rockies are doing or if they are playing yet.
