Scott Olsen will take the mound for the Marlins on Tuesday. The 23-year-old left-hander went 12-10 with a 4.04 ERA last season, teaming with Josh Johnson, Anibal Sanchez  and Ricky Nolasco  to make Florida the first team to have four rookies with at least 10 wins.

Olsen also set team rookie records with 180 2-3 innings and 166 strikeouts. He made three starts against the Nationals, going 1-1 with a 2.60 ERA.

The Nationals will counter with Shawn Hill, who went 1-3 with a 4.66 ERA in six starts last season but did not pitch after June 28 because of elbow soreness. He also made three starts with Montreal three seasons ago, but had ligament replacement surgery on his elbow in September 2004 and missed all of 2005.

"Stay healthy," Hill said of his goals for this season. "That's it. Honestly, just stay healthy and throw the ball well and be happy with how I'm throwing. If I do that, the numbers will take care of themselves."

I'm not worried about their pitcher.  We hung two on Dontrelle Willis yesterday, which isn't bad at all.  Sure we could have done a lot better, but like I said, I'm not worried about offense, I'm worried about our own defense.  I hope Hill shines tonight.

Don't count on it.. I think Hill will do reasonably well but I'm afraid Olsen is going to shut us down like D-train did yesterday.

Yeah you're right. I need to stop complaining about it and "enjoy" the coverage.

Damn we have bad luck!
