Guess they didn't want to wait for the 60 day DL.

Another of the Bowden 5 tool specials bites the dust.  Milledge, Dukes, now Maxwell.

Best of luck to JMax.  I was really rooting for him - seems like such a good guy.  I hope he catches on somewhere.  He's as good as a handful of 5th OF's out there.

gets waived through MLB then gets resigned by the Nats to a minor league deal.  no team will waste a 40 man roster spot on him while he recovers from TJ.

yeah it's a shame the FO doesn't realize that Mock may be the worst player in the bigs.

Its a shame that the local guy got injured and couldn't play for us.  He and Zimm are, I think, the only guys from relatively close by.

Zimm went to UVA.  JMax went to UMD.

Wasn't he raised in Bethesda?

Yes. No one will claim him because of the rehab, I'm guessing he accepts the assignment for the free rehab.

Bowden's still feeling the pain of Burgess being dealt, per his XM comments this week.

I'm guessing that either Severino or AlGo will be next.

I think you are wrong. first Martin, then Martis and now Maxwell. Does anyone see a trend here. It has to be Mock

Releasing players in alphabetical order sounds like something JimBo might do, but I think Rizzo is slightly too intelligent to do that.
