So, how did Zito overtake Cain for the number 2 spot in San Francisco?

There's only four or five games total.

Too bad I had to pare back my DirecTV programming and lost the MLB Network.   :?

You still get the free trial of extra innings I'd assume.

Milwood's pitching pretty well so far.

Weren't we rumored to be interested in Upton? It'd be awesome if we got him.

Well, if I heard that in 2007 I'd be pumped. It seems as if he has the Hart syndrome and has declined the past 2 years. Is it Tropicana?

He's declined, but last year was his first bad season. He did steal 42 bases and played great defense, though.

Adam Jones is going to hit .310+ and hit 30+ homers this year. Great player.

That was awesome.  I stood and cheered when Crawford hit the winner.

My WNFF fantasy opponent has the Oreealls closer.  EPIC FAIL.

NEWS FLASH - Just seen on MLB Extra Innings:

Angels fans just broke the Guinness Book of World Records for most people wearing a fleece blanket.  Almost everyone in the whole stadium, including all the broadcasters, were wearing those sleeveless snuggly things.  Must have been a giveaway item.  They had a 5 minute countdown. Most of them are still wearing them; maroon or red with some pattern on it.

  :worship:

W, 6 ip, 3h, 0r, 5k

Shows what I know...

Should I take the chance and pick him up in my fantasy league?  If Zito gets back to form, the Giants are going to be T-O-U-G-H.  Probably makes them the frontrunner in the NL West...if he returns to form.

Didn't the Cleveland Cavaliers just set that a month ago?  I saw that on SportsCenter.  Obviously a baseball stadium is larger than a basketball arena though, but still, nice original thinking LAA operations.

I heard on the radio this morning that he is the 3rd highest paid pither in MLB or something like that. Then they started talking about all the bad, long term salaries the Cubs had: Soriano, Fukudome, Zambrano, etc. I had forgotten about all that, it just goes to show throwing money and long term contracts even at people after great years isn't always a good idea.

John Lackey with a gem today for Boston.  Thank god we didn't "waste" money on him and spent wisely on Jason Marquis. :hammer:

I know it's been said before, but MLB Tonight blows the doors off Baseball Tonight and ESPN.

Quick Pitch in the mornings with breakfast is great too.

It can't be said enough.  The MLB Network has been one of the best things to happen to my sports fandom.  In fact, all of the league-specific networks are great.  ESPN can go suck one.
