Chris Duncan was with Rick Eckstein having some batting practice last week, not at Space Coast, though.

Hey, Chris Duncan's dad is Dave Duncan and Rick Eckstein's brother is David Eckstein, both primarily of St. Louis, and Kurt Warner used to play for St. Louis. Cardinal connection!

I think making a big deal out of who is or isn't early is silly.

listing the early arrivals doesn't equal "making a big deal".

27 year-old Catcher who has been in the system for years playing mostly for Potomac and also for Harrisburg.

Good behind the plate. Calls a good game. Okay with the bat. Not really a prospect but a good guy to have in the Minors to work with your young pitching prospects.

6th round pick by the Expos in the '04 draft out of USF.

Alfonso Soriano was also exciting to watch in Spring Training-- when he wasn't holding out and being a sissy.
