meh.
Ladson wrote a whole string of excellent articles lately, and then dings his credibility by showing bias in the span of 2-3 mailbag questions.

I would hardly call that Dunn hate. He points out that Dunn is defensively challenged. Would anybody disagree?
Seems a fair assessment to me.

I have a bigger problem with this grammatical errors. The Nationals are going to give him another chance at shortstop, because they realize his problems on defense last year was because of shoulder and foot ailments.

He then uses a question about Willingham, who's no glove wizard, to knock Dunn's defense. Weak.

so?
You are just mad over the [URGENT] thing. It's pretty fishy to say one guy is a good hitter and his defense can be compensated for if the other guys pick him up, when there's a much better hitter on the team (and the same type of hitter) but he says the guy sucks and needs to be a DH. Do what you want with that.

I have to agree with the others here - I don't see any blatant bias or "hate" in his answers.

So Lipbalm likes Willingham and not Dunn, where Willingham is less proven and hits worse?
Disprove any part of the sentence, Knorr. 1) Ladson said Dunn should be traded 2) He said he likes Willingham 3) Dunn has played more seasons and been healthier 4) Dunn is a better hitter than Willingham. WTF?

Nowhere did he says he "likes Willingham." He said he has "mixed emotions" on Willingham - hardly a ringing endorsement.
It is quite the leap to assume that he hates Dunn based upon the fact that he wishes the Nationals to trade him to the American League. By that logic, I "hate" Willingham, and that couldn't be farther from the truth.
If you should attack anything, it's Ladson's rather asinine implication that Dunn's offensive contributions are completely offset by his deficiencies. Making a simplistic "hates Dunn, likes Willingham" declaration is feeble.

Well, if you look at his value on Fangraphs

The moment people at fangraphs stop worshipping at the altar of UZR is the moment I'll take their subjective values without a mound of salt.

Kind of bored. No Nats news. No TV*. At least we were finally able to punch out of our neighborhood this afternoon so I could make a grocery store run. *Dish buried in snow on the roof still.

Rosenthal flipped his crap over UZR when they were discussing Hudson vs Kennedy. Said teams have proprietary metrics. They should share, at least the results!

It's kind of hard to get to. Getting up on the garage roof is someone tricky in pristine weather. However, I have about 18 inches of snow up there at present. The dish is about 10 feet from the edge of the roof, and the peak another 6-8 feet beyond. I'd have to somehow make it up and over the edge, without being able to actually touch the roof itself, and wallow in the snow up the incline towards the dish. Then the easy part - clearing an alley of snow from the dish to the peak, so as to restore the clear view to the southern sky. Then, the most difficult part - always the descent, n'est pas? I'm a little concerned about triggering a rooftop avalanche, too.
