This will be the first episode I've watched since before Summer Slam.  Looking forward to it.

I've gotta believe that Bret schedules one last match for himself tonight and beats the crap out of Vinny Mac in a street fight.

I heard TNA is airing a competing show tonight too.

I haven't watched wrestling in a few years but I may check out a little of both tonight.

TNA is really trying.  They got a lot of spurned stars from Vince.  If they can manage a television contract worth a damn they could be a viable competitor for the WWE.

The Hulkster will be on TNA tonight. 3 hour live show from 8 PM - 11 PM on Spike.

I got into TNA for a few months a few years ago. It was a lot more entertaining than WWE to me at the time.

If they made a company wide policy to work matches rather than make everything so goddamned high impact they could really make a go of it...

TNA makes everything look like really bad gymnastics. Until that changes I won't watch them.

Although they do have Morley. I'm supremely pumped about that!

I'm watching TNA for the first time.

It's awful.

They built a cage too thick to film, and the fans appear to be massively redneck after the opening segment was a bunch of...

TNA is a joke.

You can't do a DQ in a freaking cage match... your first match on live TV.

Awful.

I would love to watch this but alas I have not Spike.  From Linty's description, it sounds like it hasn't changed much in five years.  I do want to check out ECW soon because it sounds like they're using my boy....

Ok this is what happened.

They do a x-division match in a red cage that is so thick that you can't actually see through it. It comes off awful on TV.

The only rule is to climb out the cage... except the cage is at an angle so you have a tough time climbing out.

Homicide hits everyone with a baton and the ref throws the match out?!?! He then trys to climb the cage but gets stuck. Everyone looks at him for a while till they all climb and he decides to just drop to the mat.

He walks out the cage anyways and Jeff Hardy comes out and hits him in the head with a chair.

The end. A DQ in a cage match to start your show.

Ric Flair just showed up. Obviously he's behind on divorce payments.
