That would've been an inning ending DP.

That's Guzman.

That's the thing though. That wasn't even a case of testing Bourn's arm. even Adam Dunn would have thrown out Willie there.

Beimel for another inning.  Well, we won't have to worry about extra innings.

What is he then?

I've never followed his career so I don't know how he has been used throughout his career. At the same time, people here say that Acta is misusing him and it's his fault that Beimel has sucked so clearly they seem to think he is a lefty specialist. But my point wasn't really directed at Beimel. It was a general statement on left specialists.

Beimel can earn the impressive feat of getting a blown save and loss in back to back innings. <applause>

sportsfan let's bet posting privileges until after the ASG on whether Beimel shuts them down or allows them to walkoff?

Again, I don't care if he gets out of the inning. it was the wrong move to have him start this inning.

the results don't always justify the means

Kearns may end up hitting a jack in extra innings to represent.  <laughing>

It was part of a double switch, so that Kearns will bat 4th next inning instead of the pitcher.
