this, except with a Motorola Backflip(Android) instead of the iPhone, and with M..O.P. instead of Manowar.
it was heavenly. and even with very little tweaking (you can thumbsup/thumbsdown songs to tweak your station), I barely ever wanted to skip a song.
on last.fm unless I play my "Loved Songs" playlist I end up skipping and skipping until I get a song I like, and then skipping more when it is done.
Is there an android app for Napster yet? Because a netbook with a prepaid 3g card for a road trip is just an awful idea.

I do every now and then. I always listen to my itunes and ipod (when in the car) but it gets really dull since I've listened to almost every song atleast 20 times. I enjoy finding new bands and music on the radio.

I use pandora to find new music, the usually buy it through itunes. I know I'm supporting the new big evil company, but between using an iphone as my primary mp3 player in my car and walking, and airtunes, I'm pretty much stuck with itunes

When I sit down to look at my itunes library and it says I have two weeks worth of music, I realize I might have enough. And I buy all my music

Yeah. It's a pretty good song. Been top 5 on Billboard for 2 months or so. I still think Phoenix 1901/Liztomania is song of the year... even though it came out alst year.

Oh. My. God. Listening to Pandora, I've already heard Mr. Crowley once. It just came on again, but this time a cover featuring Tim "Ripper" Owens and Malmsteen. It seriously brings a tear to my eye Amazing cover of that song. Wow.

OK, I'm going to trot out this old warhorse. I love it! Mussorgsky (1839 - 1881) Pictures at an Exhibition Orchestrated by Maurice Ravel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsHkkm0vpNE

I know that song, we studied it in music. The last movement is the Gates of Kiev or something like that, right?

I just started using shuffle on my iPod for the first time...what a blast. I've got like 500 albums on that thing, so it never gets dull. And the segues from Miles Davis to Iron Cross to the Seldom Scene to (whatever) can be pretty funny.

Bowie/Queen - "pressure"
Freddie Mercury was a force of nature. I recall seeing a nazi skinhead at a London soccer game (Arsenal/Spurs) wearing a Queen shirt in '89 or so...apparently even stupid nazi skinheads could recognise superhuman talent, even when it came in gay Indian packaging.

I had thought he was Iranian because remembered he came from a Zoroasterian community from a VH1 bio, but checking it out the community (the Parsi) had left Iran for India a while back due to persecution.
